Electronic Prescribing
BYP Kids is fully integrated into the national electronic prescribing system. Connecting to nearly every pharmacy in the United States this system provides for more accurate and rapid delivery of prescribed medication.
To help us out please choose a regular pharmacy that you will be picking up your prescriptions in advance.
Refills
Refill requests should be made during routine office hours Monday – Friday. A minimum of twenty-four hours notice is required for all refills and may take 3 business days. For routine medications that need refill, often the pharmacy will fax the request to us.
New Patients
We cannot prescribe to new patients without being seen in the office first.
After Hours
Please be aware that there are limitations to the number and kind of prescriptions that can be requested by the physician on call after hours. Most situations will require an office visit prior to any prescriptions sent. Emergency refills are limited to less than a one week supply
Controlled Substances
Controlled substances such as ADHD prescriptions can be prescribed electronically. We reccomended that any refills be requested one week in advance prior to running out of medication. Please be aware that we will not replace lost controlled substances prescriptions
